Doctor’s Orders

I recently purchased a pair of the old Dr Scholl’s Original sandals in a gold color…I know, I know–against my better judgement. Something attracted me to them. Maybe their old school style made me long for the carefree days of my youth… Other than the reasonable price tag ($45) I thought they were cute. That is, until a fashionable friend’s raise of an eyebrow made me instantly regret the purchase. Perhaps they are very 90’s…perhaps they are a little clunky… But just today I received a lucky magazine Deal of the Day email for Swedish Hasbeens. Same clunky wooden heel, same soft leather…maybe a little more bohemian and YES, cool…but c’mon–they both scream furry legs and aluminum-free antiperspirant.

The Hasbeens are nailed in sweden but at around $200-250 a pop, you’ll be screwed in the wallet. I’m sticking to the doctor.
